Industrial Commission of Minnesota minutes, 1921-1960.

Minutes of the Industrial Commission of Minnesota organized in 1921 [Laws 1921 c81] to oversee and direct the actions of the Labor and Industry Department. The commission was abolished in 1967. The minutes mainly document the organization and administration of the commission and its oversight of the department's many activities, especially in the matters of hearings and license renewals, regulation of wages, inspection of work places and accident sites, safety and health standards, employment agency services, worker's compensation, minimum wage, and unemployment compensation.
